על ידי שימוש ב ה-Arrays.fill() בשיטה, נוכל למלא מערך שלם או למלא חלק ממנו. Arrays.fill() השיטה מסוגלת גם למלא את מערך הדו-ממד וגם את המערך התלת-ממדי.
לשיטת Arrays fill() יש את התחביר הבא:

כאן,
- ה arr פרמטר מגדיר מערך למילוי.
- ה formIndex פרמטר מגדיר את האינדקס של האלמנט הראשון שיש למלא בערך הנתון.
- ה לאינדקס פרמטר מגדיר את האינדקס של האינדקס האחרון שיש למלא בערך הנתון.
- ה val פרמטר מגדיר את הערך שיש לאחסן בכל האלמנטים של המערך הנתון.
